The Annual Snow Mountain Powwow is a community celebration hosted by the Las Vegas Paiute tribe. The powwow attracts many from other American Indian tribes to participate in its various festivities, but the powwow is open to folks from all backgrounds. The one-day event features an opening ceremony, participation-encouraged drum circles, folkloric musical performances and bird dancing and juried singing competitions.
